We normally dance on the FIRST Saturday (from 7 pm to 9:30 pm).

LOCATION: Brazos Ballroom Dance studio, 501 Graham Road, College Station. The dance studio is located at the back of the property.

A collection of computer rendered contra dance tunes in MP3 format is available. Your feedback as to danceablity and possible improvements is solicited.

COVID-19 POLICY: You dance at your own risk. Vaccinations and masks are encouraged, but not required. If you are feeling sick, or have been exposed to Covid, please do not come.

Dances are done to live music (when we can get a band). The leader of our local band has moved away. If you are a musician interested in playing for contra dances, contact us.
All dances are taught and called, with additional instruction for beginners in the first half-hour
Contra dance is suitable for singles, couples, and families, from pre-teens to seniors
Come with a partner or family and friends, or find dance partners at the dance
It is aerobic exercise to music, in a smoke-, alcohol-, and fragrance-free setting.
Casual dress and comfortable shoes are recommended
If you can walk and follow directions, you can contra dance
Join us for a fun evening and embrace the joy of contra dance!

Suggested donation: adults $10, students $5. [Our rent has increased]
